The following Privacy Policy describes how Horizon Shift Lab LLC (“Horizon Shift Lab,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from:
   1.    Visitors to the Website who view publicly-available content and all users of the Website, including without limitation, users who are browsers, vendors, merchants, and/ or potential consumers of our Services (“Visitors”), 

   2.    Users who subscribe to Horizon Shift Lab or create an account on the Website or linked third-party application by providing a name, email, and other personal information to receive content, access information and view communication messages (“Subscribers”), and

   3.    those who purchase and/or use our Services (“Customers”) through our Website, social media accounts or similar.

Visitors, Subscribers, Customers, and any general user of the Website and/or Services will be collectively and/or interchangeably referred to as User/s (“you”, “your”) in the Privacy Policy.


This Privacy Policy applies to how we collect and use information in connection with: 
   4.    our websites, including, without limitation, horizonshiftlab.com (the “Website”); and 

   5.    any information you provide to us online via other sites and online applications we may use.



This Privacy Policy applies primarily to information that we collect online; however, it may apply to some of the data that you provide to us offline and/or through other means as well (for example, at a live event, via telephone, or through the mail).


By visiting our Website, subscribing through our Website, purchasing and using our products or services, and/or providing us with any information, Users are agreeing to this Privacy Policy and any additional conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink and our accompanying Terms.

 

Please note that when you follow us, communicate with us or engage with us in any manner on our social media sites on platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube, and similar, you are agreeing to the Privacy Policies and Terms and Conditions of those respective platforms.

A. Data and Information Collection

How is data collected? 

When you sign up to receive any of our content in the form of videos, audio, email messages, and similar – we typically request your full name, phone number and email address to opt-in through direct inputs or automated means.  
* When you respond to a survey, register for an event, contact us and/or purchase any product, service or similar – we request details in addition to your name and email address, explained further below in this Privacy Policy.

When you follow, like and engage with us via third-party sites such as Facebook, YouTube and/or similar - we may access and utilize information related to your social media account. Personal information may include your first and last name, gender, location, username, e-mail address, pictures, biographical information or phone number.


Where is data collected?

Currently, we utilize a service called Wix, which contains user lists and user data such as names and email addresses. When you choose to provide us with your name and email address in order to receive free content (e.g. blog, newsletter), your data goes to Wix where your data is stored for us to be able to communicate with you.

We may provide or reference links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. Third-parties we work with have their own databases and systems for collecting data and may store information we have shared with them on other databases. Your data privacy and usage is governed by their privacy policies. Our company has no control over the third parties’ use of any personal information.

If you have signed up for or bought something from us via an affiliate link, the person or organization in charge of the affiliate link will have the information that you submitted. This may include your email address, name, address, or information you provided.

What data is collected and why?

    1.    Personal Information and Contact Information 

We collect information such as your full name, mailing address, e-mail address, social media information, location, date of birth, computer information, phone number and similar either through your direct inputs or through automated means. 


   2.    Order Information

When you purchase a product or service from us, you must provide us with certain information about the products and services you want to purchase. This information is used to provide you with the appropriate service or product.


   3.    Billing Information

When you purchase a product, experience, membership, or service, you will be required to provide certain billing information which may include a card number, expiration date, billing address, activation codes, security codes, paypal username and similar information. Billing information for events and other products or services we provide, which are hosted on third-party service provider’s platforms are processed by these platform providers and their service providers.

   4.    Other Information.

In addition to the information noted above, but not limited to, we may collect additional information as follows:
a. General Information  
Additional information that you voluntarily provide to us (via a survey, polls or similar) such as gender, age, marital status, education, religion, income range, profession, preferred brands, product and service preferences, and other information that does not identify you personally.
b. Online Activity
When you visit our Website, we may automatically collect some information about your computer or device, including and without limitation: the type of browser software you use, the operating system you are using, device type, other hardware information possibly including certain unique identifiers, carrier and country location, referring sites and application, and your Internet Protocol ("IP") address. IP addresses will sometimes point to a specific identifiable computer or device, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages and what sections of the Website you visit, and similar data. Data collected also includes User logins, login history, social media and third-party logins, photos used for profile pictures and similar, language, time zone, email engagement and other User behavior.  Features and functionalities of the Website and applicable third-party sites automatically store and enable us access to information such as: when you created an account, when you deleted an account, time spent on an application, live location and similar.
c. Cookies and Analytics 
Cookies are small packets of data that a website stores on your computer’s or mobile device’s hard drive so that your computer will “remember” information about your visit.  We may contract with third-party service providers to use cookies, web beacons and other tracking technology to collect information that will help us understand User preferences and enhance business operations and customer service using the Website. We may also use third-party providers who provide analytics services, such as Google Analytics. These services will analyze your use of the Website and our products and services, collect demographic data, and evaluate other information relating to the Website and its Users. By accessing and using the Website, you consent to the processing of data about you by these providers in the manner and for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We collect all the above-mentioned types of data to contact you with regards to a query you have or to provide information you requested from us (newsletters and similar), to provide a product or service you purchased. We require certain information to perform accounting, administrative and legal tasks. We also collect data for marketing purposes, such as to market our products and services through but not limited to: email marketing, advertising, including retargeting via Google and Facebook notifications. We also use this information to understand our Users and potential customers and to make enhancements to our Website, products, services, and customer service accordingly. We use data for profiling or auto matching user preferences for better & efficient user experience. We collect additional information to monitor and analyze trends such as: purchase history, sales reports, behavior on the site, email clicks and opens.

Please note that if you post and/or share information on our Website through your social media accounts, such information will be subject to the privacy policy applicable to the relevant social media platform.

B. Data and Information Sharing


We use information collected as described in this Privacy Policy to provide our services; to maintain and improve our Website; to obtain your feedback; and to inform you about our products and services and those of our third-party marketing partners and in the general interests of the effective management of Horizon Shift Lab and all its operations and activities. In order to do so, we do contract with other companies to perform certain business-related services for us. We may disclose your information, including personal information in some cases, to certain types of third-party companies, but only to the extent needed to enable them to provide such services, including, without limitation, technical support, data hosting, order fulfillment, customer service and support, marketing services and advertising management, data analysis, payment processing, survey collection and business operations. These third parties may use additional technologies to collect data to support the management of advertising campaigns or other initiatives. 
Horizon Shift Lab and our third-party service providers may analyze information collected in aggregate form in order to operate, maintain, manage, and improve the Website and/or our products and services. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. We may share this aggregate data with our affiliates, agents, and business partners. We may also disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe our products and services to appropriate parties.


While we will seek to require third parties to follow appropriate privacy policies and will not authorize them to use this information except for the express purpose for which it is provided, we cannot and do not bear any responsibility for any actions or policies of third parties.

While your personally identifying information is used only as outlined above, we reserve the right to use, transfer, sell, and share aggregated, anonymous data about our users as a group for any business purpose, such as analyzing usage trends and seeking advertising partners.

In addition, as our business changes, we may buy or sell various assets. In the event all or a portion of the assets owned or controlled by us are sold, assigned, transferred or acquired by another company, the information from and/or about our Website users may be among the transferred assets.


Disclosures to Public Authorities
We may access, maintain and disclose your personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, applicable law, legal or regulation process, and audits including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. Opt-out
You may opt out of email communication from us, by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link located on any Horizon Shift Lab marketing email. Users cannot opt out of receiving transactional e-mails related to their account or their purchases. Additionally please be aware that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our subscription databases.

The Website and/or Services are intended for residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age or older. We have just begun business operations and data collection as of June 2024. We may use third-party services to track Users. As such, please note that we do not comply and/or respond to any DNT requests. Children: California Privacy Rights for Minor Users (California Business and Professions Code Section 22581)
California Business and Professions Code Section 22581 allows California residents under the age of 18, who are registered users of online sites, services or applications, to request and obtain removal of content or information they have publicly posted.
